Shepherd God's flock with a willing heart, acting as an example rather than lording over them.
1 Peter 5:1–3:
Michael Harris is a native of the Atlanta metropolitan area whose life and work reflect a deep commitment to helping others experience emotional, relational, and spiritual wholeness. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and continued his education at Walden University, where he completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Michael understands firsthand both the joys and complexities of family life. As part of a blended family with seven children, he brings compassion, wisdom, and personal experience to his work with individuals, couples, and families.
Michael serves as a Certified Christian Counselor with Arise and Live Christian Counseling, where he integrates his professional training, life experiences, and Christian faith to encourage healing, growth, and restoration. He also works as a therapist serving children in the same underserved community in which he was raised, a role that allows him to give back to the community that helped shape his own journey.
Driven by a strong sense of purpose and a heart for service, Michael is passionate about walking alongside others as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, deepen their faith, and move toward greater mental and spiritual well-being.
